The mount and chroot commands are not needed. You would still have to have the Linksys firmware on a USB key but it can be any USB drive the McDebian OS isn't required because chroot isn't required attached to the router.I think but haven't tested that the instructions as is will also work on OpenWRT because chroot isn't effected by which firmware you use.
Announce your custom builds, projects and packages that use/work with OpenWrt. Each community build, project, or package announcement should describe the best place for further discussion to occur.
